As the bike that won the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in its first year on the market, swept the podium at the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross finale, and most recently took the 2020 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the Husqvarna FC 450 Rockstar Edition has seen plenty of racing success at the highest level since its introduction in 2018.
The FC 450 Rockstar Edition is the first Husqvarna model to come standard with the new Connectivity Unit, allowing your smartphone to connect to the bike via Bluetooth using the myHusqvarna app. This free-to-use iOS- and Android-compatible app has a number of fun and useful features; for the engine, there are a variety of preloaded settings for track types such as sand, gravel, and hardpack, and it also includes settings for track conditions ranging from wet to dry. From there you can move into an advanced mode allowing you to increase or decrease characteristics such as engine-braking, throttle response, traction control, and launch control. These advanced settings are easy to read and understand, and use a sliding scale from 1 to 5, least to most, of each setting.
