The 2023 KTM 890 Adventure R is a rugged, high-performance mid-size adventure bike designed to handle serious off-road terrain while still delivering road-worthy manners. Under the hood it uses an 889 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin that puts out about 103 hp (≈ 77 kW) and 100 Nm of torque. Its chassis features a chrome-molybdenum steel frame that uses the engine as a stressed member, giving it strength and reduced weight. The “R” version is tailored for off-road: it comes with fully-adjustable WP XPLOR 48 mm USD front forks and a WP XPLOR PDS rear shock with long travel.
